Yes, our event has pacers! What’s a pacer you might ask? It’s an individual that will run the distance at a specific time and guide you through the race.
We have pace times from 7 minutes a mile to 14 minutes a mile in 2 minute increments (so 30 seconds a mile – 7, 7:30, 8, 8:30, etc.)

We will offer a solo pacer for the following times: 28, 30, 32, 34, 36, 38, 40, 42, 44, 46, 48, 50, 52, 54, and 56 minutes
Our Garmin Smart Pacer Team is ready to take your 4 miles to an all time high. Visit your team here.
Participants will be timed using disposable chip timing. The timing chip is attached to the back of your bib number and should attach like this. Your time will begin when you cross the starting line.

Runners unable to pick up their award at the race should email runnersedgeracing@gmail.com to make arrangements on picking up your award.
If you cannot run the race because of a family emergency, a change in work schedule, or a stuffy nose, you don’t have to worry about forfeiting your registration fee, shirt, and finisher medal. A virtual race is one you run yourself, where you want and when you want. If you need to change your in-person registration to a virtual runner, please email runnersedgeracing@gmail.com as soon as possible to let us know so we can switch your registration.
Runners registered as a virtual participant can pick up (or have a friend pick up) their packet including a finishers medal. Tell the volunteers you are a virtual runner and look for the Virtual Runner sign. We will have your packet pulled ahead of time. DO NOT GO TO A COMPUTER to have a bib number assigned to you! Complete the distance whenever and wherever it is convenient.

If you are unable to pick up your packet before the race, email runnersedgeracing@gmail.com to let us know you want your packet and we can make arrangements on getting it to you.
