Uncle Sam’s Favorite Running Race, the Ward Parkway Four on the Fourth event consists of three running distances for individuals and families to consider.
The distances offered are:
- Four Mile Run
- Four Kilometer Run
- Little Firecracker Kids Run
This is a speedy road course in the heart of Kansas City, MO on Ward Parkway is perfect to grab a few miles before your Fourth of July holiday events. Whether its watching the famous Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest, Going out on the boat for the day, or enjoying the outdoors, this road race will be one to kick off your day that you won’t want to miss!
FOUR MILE COURSE
The 4 mile race starts and finishes on the west side of the Ward Parkway Center at the Pavilion. 7:30 AM start time.
Runners – please run on the left side of the road to allow the walkers space on the right.
LITTLE FIRECRACKER KIDS RUN
The Little Firecracker Kids Fun Run starts at 7:10AM at the far west side of the parking lot and will end at the Ward Parkway Center Pavilion.
